Group Based Products - Health - Health insurance is available in very basic plans all the way up to complete comprehensive plans, including consumer driven plans such as Health Savings Accounts (HSAs).
- Dental - Dental insurance enables employees to have a complete package when added to a major medical plan.
- Vision - There are many different plans available and can be very affordable. (Some carriers offer a vision exam with their health insurance, but it is not considered vision coverage).
- Life insurance - Employers can offer this benefit to all employees and also allow employees to add additional coverage through voluntary products.
- Disability insurance - Short and long-term disability insurance is a relatively inexpensive benefit option and can help you remain competitive in the employement market.
- Section 125 - Commonly known as a "cafeteria" or "flex" plan, Section 125 allows employees to pay for qualified medical, dental, vision, dependent care, over-the-counter medications and health insurance premiums on a tax-free basis for themselves or their family members.
- 401(K) Plans - Allows employee’s to save for retirement and gives employers certain tax breaks.
- Payroll & HR Services - Many small businesses don’t have an HR department; GBL has partnered with several companies that specialize in helping business owners with those needs.
Employee Based Products (Voluntary Products) Voluntary benefits are a way to help expand the employee benefits package - with very minimal cost - while providing greater options and choices to employees. These programs allow employees to purchase additional insurance they may need with the convenience of payroll deduction. - Life - employees can choose from term, whole or universal life, depending on their needs.
- Cancer - Many cancer expenses are considered "non-medical" which means there are limitations on how much a group health plan will pay.
- Critical Illness - Covers direct and indirect expenses such as lost income, childcare, mortgage payments, prescription drugs and more.
- Disability - Works in conjuction with other disablity insurance an employee may have to fill an income gap.
- Long-term care - Provides financial protection, whether the employee or family member is in a nursing home, an assisted living facility or still at home.
